How much does a website cost in 2026? What a quote includes

Robert NicutaPublished on 6 min read

A website can be your business's first conversation with a customer. Before calling you, that person has already seen how you present your work, what you offer and how easy it is to enquire or book. The quote should cover that entire journey.

I am Robert Nicuta, a designer and developer based in Formentera. I meet clients in Ibiza and Formentera and handle both design and development. My current rate for hourly work is €40/hour, excluding VAT. For a complete website, I prepare a fixed quote based on scope.

Website costs in Spain: published references

I reviewed these offers from providers outside Ibiza on 5 October 2026. They illustrate different service models, not an average rate or the prices of my projects.

Published offer Price excluding VAT Provider's stated scope
Metacom Barcelona: business websites €725–1,200 Three packages; check each package's inclusions.
Metacom Barcelona: Ecommerce M €1,350 Ten products, one language; hosting and multilingual version separate.
Allora, Madrid: coded website €3,500–7,500 Without the SEO service; price depends on pages, store and integrations.

Hourly work varies too: Metacom lists five hours for €275 and twenty for €900, excluding VAT. That works out to €55 and €45/hour within those bundles. These are not an Ibiza average or a universal industry rate.

Prices may change. An inexpensive offer can suit a small brief. To compare it with a bespoke design, check content, languages, revisions, functions and handover. The headline figure does not explain all of those.

What the design in my portfolio brings to a project

This portfolio shows how I work: typography, colour, space and motion create a recognisable identity. The same idea continues through the services and project pages, in four languages and with a layout adapted to mobile. Explore it and decide whether that care fits your brand.

For Savia IA, my own startup, I designed and developed both the application and its website. At saviaia.es, a simulated desktop and guided tour introduce the application so visitors can understand it before enquiring. Design has a commercial purpose here: making a tool visible when words alone would struggle to explain it.

That is the care I want to bring to your website: a distinct identity, a clear explanation of your business and an easy next step. Animation, imagery and a special composition make sense when they help that experience. We choose what contributes to the project.

The experience behind the screen

I trained in Web Application Development at IES Santa Maria d’Eivissa. At Tisa Internacional, I worked on projects with real requirements: for Ibiza Circular, I designed and developed the public website and management dashboard frontend, following the Consell's institutional identity.

I then worked with Formentera businesses and completed an Erasmus placement at CETIS Flex in Slovenia, developing a packaging quotation application. Today I combine freelance work with building Savia. Review my background and the projects to see my contribution to each.

Projects explain value better than a page count

  • Love Formentera: I designed and built a property business's website, including my own photographs of homes and boats. Presentation and content work together to show the character of the business.
  • Love Bici: I rebuilt the store and booking journey for mobile. A group of six can complete one shared booking; I also digitised rental contracts.
  • Savia IA: brand design, a presentation website and the interface of my own application. The application and the way it is explained are built together.

These are different projects. A rental store, a brand website and an internal tool require different quotes. The price should reflect what needs to work.

How to prevent a low upfront price becoming a larger bill

Before accepting a proposal, request these terms in writing:

  • Changes and revisions: how many are included, what counts as extra work and whether there is a minimum charge per intervention.
  • Maintenance: what it covers, included hours, what happens to unused hours and the cost of additional time.
  • Recurring costs: domain, hosting, email, licences and external services, including renewal prices.
  • Handover and continuity: who controls access and which code, content and data you receive if you change professional.

Editing a sentence can be straightforward; changing a payment flow requires testing. The price should explain the work and responsibility involved. A low subscription or high hourly rate alone cannot tell you the final cost.

Let's discuss the website your business needs

If you like how my portfolio and Savia are put together, we can bring that same attention to design to your brand. Tell me what you sell, who buys it and what that person should be able to do on your website. If you already have one, we review it before deciding what is worth keeping.

Explore website design and development, online stores and booking systems, or request a quote. We arrange a meeting in Ibiza or Formentera and I prepare a written proposal with scope, timing and price.
