A web-based calculator app for a Slovenian packaging factory. It gives customers an instant quote for their order, replacing the previous 3–4 day wait.
The app calculates the price of a packaging order based on the specifications entered by the user, including dimensions, materials and quantity.
The user selects a template for the product, and the quantity, dimensions and materials are based on the selected template. The app then calculates the order price from the quantity, the design colours and other specifications.
The result screen shows a full, itemised quote that used to take the team three to four days to put together by hand with old software, and was only visible to employees.
The app also includes an admin dashboard where the team can manage templates, update material prices, change machine speeds and other variables that affect the price, so it stays up to date with current costs and production times.
